Start Strong in 2019!
We will be introducing our Start Strong program in January 2019, as an easy way for beginners to get started with strength training. If you’re sick of starting and stopping training, or getting injured, or just simply not seeing the progress you should – come and Start Strong with us at Black Flag Barbell Club. Our experienced coaches will be there every session, you’ll have the piece of mind that your technique is on point, you’ll be progressing through a proven program, and you’ll be part of a community committed to smashing their goals.
The goal of Start Strong is to take anyone, even someone with zero experience, and teach them the fundamentals of sound training and technique over the course of six weeks. You don’t have to be an expert to start, you just have to have the courage to step into the gym, and the willpower to show up for two sessions a week.
Over those two sessions per week we will introduce you to the squat, bench press, deadlift, overhead press (and other movements to!) and teach you how to safely implement them in your training. Sessions will involve a strength component, as well as a variety of strongman, hypertrophy (muscle building) and conditioning work.
This six week program will give you a taste of what it’s like to train with some great coaches, and see just how much potential you have to unlock. As an added incentive, if you attend EVERY one of your sessions over the six weeks – we’ll give you half your money back!
