Powerlifting is a great way to build strength, add muscle and provide focus to your training.
Compound (multi joint) movements such as the three powerlifts – the squat, bench press and deadlift – are well known to have the best ‘bang for your buck’. They use more muscle to move more weight, as compared to isolation (single joint) exercises such as leg extensions or bicep curls.
