Friday night at the Bar
I had an interesting conversation with a member the other week. A work colleague of his was baffled that he could train almost every day, and enjoyed it. He tried to explain that it wasn’t just the training, it was the community… but it still wasn’t hitting the mark.
After going in circles a little bit, he compared the gym to going to the pub. Catching up with mates, having a laugh and just shaking off the days bullshit. With this comparison, the lightbulb went off and old mate understood instantly.
Training is great for improving your performance, yes. It’s great for your physical health, yes. It’s also great for your mental health!
Had a shit day? Come shift some weight and the crew will cheer you up.
Had a great day? Share the good news and have a killer session!
Not unlike the pub at all, is it really? You’ll even feel it the next day 😀
If you want to see what we’re all about – come on in for free session! Strength training, powerlifting, strongman, conditioning… anything and everything lifting related under one roof.
